Install the right side cover (See page 5-5).
1. Oil level warning light
NOTICE
• If the oil level warning light comes on while you
are operating the Snowblower, stop the engine
immediately and add sufficient oil to the correct
level. Otherwise, it could lead to serious engine
damage.
• The oil level warning light may come on when the
Snowblower is tilted excessively. If so, park the
Snowblower on a level surface and check
whether the oil level warning light still lights.

Checking the transmission (HST) oil

Check the transmission oil quantity before starting the
engine and the transmission (HST) is cold.

Check the oil reservoir under the control panel.

3. Maximum level mark "UPPER"

4. Minimum level mark "LOWER"

Check that the transmission (HST) oil is in the mid-
dle level when the ambient temperature is between
–10 C–0 C.
When the ambient temperature is below –20 C,
the oil might contract and oil level become below
LOWER level.
NOTICE
Do not check the transmission (HST) oil level
immediately after the engine has stopped.
The oil might expand and cannot check the correct
level.
TIP
Position the Snowblower on a level surface, when
checking the oil level.
