hiss produced when the fuel
tank cap is removed?
Has the quantity of cleared
snow reached the limit of the
Snowblower?

Is the auger shear bolt bro-
ken?
Is the impeller shear bolt bro-
ken?
Does rubber protrude from the
inside of the shear bolt guard?
Is the rubber strength beyond
its limit?
Is snow lodged in the chute?
Is smooth rotation of the impel-
ler prevented due to frozen
snow between the impeller
and the impeller housing?
Check
Is the belt worn and slippery?
Action
Remove the snow or water
around the fuel tank cap.
Make sure the amount of
cleared snow does not reach
higher than the top of the au-
ger housing.
Action
Replace the auger shear bolt.
Replace the impeller shear
bolt.
Have a Yamaha dealer re-
place the shear bolt guard.
Remove the lodged snow.
Unfreeze the impeller.
Action
Have a Yamaha dealer re-
place the belt.
