Check
Is the sprocket pin inserted
into the correct hole position?

Is the sprocket pin inserted
into the correct hole position?

Is the engine switch at the "ON
" position?
Did you operate the starter
motor for more than 5 seconds
when starting the engine? Did
you leave the engine switch in
the "ON
" position for a long
time with the engine stopped?
Is the fuel cock lever at the
"RUN" position?
Is the throttle lever at the
"FAST (START)
" position?
Is the fuse blown?
Is the battery sufficiently
charged?

Turn the engine switch to the
"ON
" position. Then turn the
engine switch to the "START
" position to start the engine.
Make sure that the battery is
sufficiently charged. If it seems
to be exhausted, have a
Yamaha dealer charge it.
Turn the fuel cock lever to the
"RUN" position.
Move the throttle lever to the
"FAST (START)
" position.
Check whether the fuse is
blown.
Have a Yamaha dealer charge
the battery.
