TIP
Adjust the left and right skids so they are both the
same height.
8.
Tighten the nuts of skid to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Nut:
16 N·m (1.6 kgf·m)

Replacing the auger shear bolts

WARNING
• Do not look into or put your hands near the
impeller or auger when they are rotating.
• When removing snow lodged in a rotating part
with the clean-out tool (lodged snow remover),
stop the engine, remove the engine switch key,
and wait until all moving parts have stopped.
• Position the Snowblower on a level surface.
• Wear gloves when using the clean-out tool
(lodged snow remover) to avoid injuries.

Stop the engine and remove the engine switch key.
2.
Be sure to use the clean-out tool (lodged snow
remover) to remove snow and other obstacles from
the auger housing.
3.
Remove the locknuts, the shear bolts and the

washers.

Install the new shear bolts with their washers.
5.
Install the new locknuts and then tighten them to
the specified torque.
