Maintenance Procedure
• Check the tension on the alternator belt.
• Check the belt tension on the air-conditioning compressor.
• Torque the wheel-lug nuts.
• Change the engine oil and filter.
• Change the hydraulic fluid and filter.
• Test the safety-interlock system.
• Check the engine-oil level.
• Check the engine-coolant level.
• Clean the radiator with compressed air (do not use water). Clean the radiator more
frequently in extremely dusty and dirty conditions.
• Check the hydraulic fluid level.
• Clean the attachment.
• Grease the bearing and bushing grease fittings. Grease the bearing and bushing
grease fittings more frequently in extremely dusty and dirty conditions.
• Check the battery cable connections.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Clean the air-conditioning coil. Clean the air-conditioning coil more frequently in
extremely dusty or dirty conditions.
• Check the tension on the alternator belt.
• Check the belt tension on the air-conditioning compressor.
• Change the engine oil and filter.
• Inspect the cooling-system hoses and seals. Replace them if they are cracked or
torn.
• Torque the wheel-lug nuts.
• Clean the cab air filters. Replace the cab air filters if they are torn or excessively dirty.
• Service the air cleaner. (Service the air cleaner earlier if the air-cleaner indicator
shows red. Service it more frequently in extremely dirty or dusty conditions.)
• Replace the fuel filter canister.
• Check the fuel lines and connections.
• Change the hydraulic fluid and filter.
• Inspect the engine-valve clearance. Refer to your engine operator's manual.
• Replace any moving hoses.
• Drain and clean the fuel tank.
• Flush and replace the cooling-system fluid.
