9. Remove the two screws that secure the card reader to the card reader bracket, and then slide the
card reader from the bracket.
Note: Touch only the edges of the card reader. Do not touch the circuit board of it.

10. Align the new card reader in the card reader bracket and slide the card reader into the rail until it stops.
Then, install the two screws to secure the new card reader to the bracket.
11. Install the card reader bracket into the chassis so that the chassis is inserted between the metallic tabs

and

on the card reader bracket, and the screw hole in the bracket aligns with the corresponding
hole in the chassis. Then, install the screw to secure the card reader bracket to the chassis.

12. Reconnect the new card reader cable to the system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 34.
13. Reinstall the storage drive bracket. See "Replacing the storage drive" on page 85.
14. Reinstall the front bezel. See "Replacing the front bezel" on page 84.
15. Reinstall the optical drive or the storage drive in the optical drive bay if you have removed any of them.
