7. Remove the four screws that secure the 2.5-inch storage drive converter to the storage drive bracket.
Then, slide the 2.5-inch storage drive converter out of the bracket.

8. Remove the four screws that secure the 2.5-inch storage drive to the 2.5-inch storage drive converter.
Then, slide the 2.5-inch storage drive out of the converter.

9. Take the new 2.5-inch storage drive out of the static-protective package.
10. Slide the 2.5-inch storage drive into the 2.5-inch storage drive converter so that the four screw holes in
the storage drive align with the corresponding holes in the converter. Then, install the four screws to
secure the 2.5-inch storage drive to the converter.
11. Slide the 2.5-inch storage drive converter into the storage drive bracket so that the four screw holes in
the converter align with the corresponding holes in the bracket. Then, install the four screws to secure
the 2.5-inch storage drive converter to the bracket.
12. Position the storage drive bracket into the chassis so that the screw hole in the bracket aligns with the
corresponding hole in the chassis. Then, install the screw to secure the bracket to the chassis.
13. Connect the signal cable and the power cable to the new 2.5-inch storage drive.
14. Reinstall the optical drive or the storage drive in the optical drive bay if you have removed any of them.
