■ Service switchboard
The Service switchboard contains the LED display and service switches.
● Remove the service switchboard
1. Access and open the imagePRESS Server, as described on
2. Disconnect the service switchboard cable from the service switchboard and motherboard.
3. If you are replacing the service switchboard cable, remove the cable from the plastic clips that secure it to the
chassis.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the service switchboard to the chassis, and remove the board from the chassis
(see Figure 16).

● Replace the service switchboard
1. If you are replacing the old service switchboard with a new one, unpack the new board and cable.
2. Position the new service switchboard inside the chassis, fitting the LED display and service switches through the
cutouts in the chassis.
3. Secure the service switchboard to the chassis using the two screws that you removed earlier (see Figure 16).
4. Connect the service switchboard cable to the connector on the service switchboard. The cable is keyed to fit in the
connector only one way.
5. Connect the free end of the service switchboard cable to module header (DBG_HD1) connector on the motherboard.

6. Make sure that the service switches are set to the OFF position (both switches are away from ON). See
