Secure the float pivot casting to the cutting unit
by first inserting the pin through the tapered
bushings in the cutting unit frame and the
appropriate hole in the casting.

Secure the pin in position with the spring pin.
3.
Fit the bolt (16 x 120 mm), washers (16 mm),
and locknut (16 mm). Tighten the fasteners,
ensuring that the float pivot casting can freely
move through the full range of movement.

Withdraw the cutting unit pin from each of the
front arms. Holding each pin in a vice, move
the nut (24 mm) and pear drop bushing to the
longer pin supplied in the kit. Note that the nut
and bushing are fitted to the end of the pin with
the longer thread.
5.
Install these pin assemblies into the front arms.
6.
Install the cutting unit back onto the arm by
reversing the removal process described.
7.
Install the spacers to the front cutting units only
as shown.
8.
The 2 front cutting unit transport rollers should
be replaced with the 2 supplied, using the new
split pin.
9.
For the center cutting unit, fasten the bump stop
brackets to both sides of the cutting unit with the
coach bolt, locknut, and washers.
10.
Apply the serial number label next to the
machine serial label, on the left side chassis rail
at the rear of the machine.
11.
Lift the cutting units just off the ground and
ensure that they pivot in all directions. Raise
the cutting units to the transport position, and
back down again. Ensure that all heads operate
correctly and do not hit or catch on any other
parts of the machine.
