Displaying numeric data on the position screen

and time with large, easily read digits, press

Going immediately to a quick waypoint

The Northstar 6000i can guide you directly
to any point on the
designate. "Point-and-shoot" navigation, as
it is called, is often the easiest way to go to
a waypoint or a series of waypoints: Just
select the points right on the chart and go
to them, one after another. This technique
provides the most flexibility in deciding
where you want to travel. Simply move the
cursor wherever you want, press a key, and
you're navigating.
