After terminating services, check symptoms according to the flow chart below.
Was this unit disassembled?
Is upgrading of firmware required?
Install a UPP-110HG.
Print a 17-step test pattern.
(Refer to Section 3-8-3.)
Clean the thermal head and platen
roller. (Refer to Section 1-11.)
Check the external view and
clean it. (Refer to Section 1-11-1.)
Return this unit to a user.

Check that the paper is removed.
Perform self-diagnosis and check
that no problem exists in
