2-1. Error Log Acquisition Procedure

A maximum of up to 20 errors that occurred during the printing operation are stored in this unit.
The error information can be obtained by using the log print (refer to Section 1-8-2) and utility software
(refer to Section 1-6).
It is possible to predict the possible defective portion of this unit based on the error information. Use it for
trouble analysis.

The error codes that are displayed on the "Error Log Data" screen of the utility software and printed in
"ID" of the log print are described.

Troubleshooting

Possible cause
Door drive system failure
Break of harness between the SE-1142
board and SW-1703 board or between
the SW-1703 board and MA-201 board,
or the disconnection of connector

the SW-1703 board and MA-201 board,

Break of harness between the DC

Remedy
Check the door drive system.
Check if there is not any break in the
harness, and if the connector is not
disconnected.
Check the SE-1142 board. If the
symptom persists, replace it. (Refer
to Section 3-3.)
Check the head drive system.
Check if there is not any break in the
harness, and if the connector is not
disconnected.
Check if there is not any break in the
harness, and if the connector is not
disconnected.
Replace the DC (Head) motor. (Refer
to Section 3-10.)
