3.2.3 1000BASE-LX Single-mode Optical Fiber Cable
(Core Diameter: 10 μm, LC Twin-Core Connector)
This is used for the connection with 1000BASE-LX（SFP-LX,SFP-LXA）.
The boundary with 1000BASE-LX is the connector on GS4000.
The maximum transmission distance between the devices with 1000BASE-LX when using an
optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10／125μm （wave length: 1300nm） is 5Km.
Figure 3.2-3 shows the rough sketch of the cable, and Table 3.2-5 shows the specification of
an optic fiber interface.
