Throttle Lever
The throttle lever
(Figure
control; it controls the speed of the engine and therefore
controls the speed of the machine. For best rolling
performance, set this control to the
Fuel-Shutoff Valve
The fuel-shutoff valve
(Figure
choke lever. Move it to the open position before attempting
to start the engine. Once you have finished using the machine
and you have turned the engine off, move the fuel-shutoff
valve to the
position.
CLOSED
Recoil-Start Handle
To start the engine, pull the recoil-start handle
quickly to turn the engine over. The controls on the engine
described above must all be set correctly for the engine to
start.
Oil-Level Switch
The oil-level switch is located inside the engine; it prevents
the engine from running if the oil level falls below the safe
operating limit.

Operation

Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine
from the normal operating position.

Think Safety First

Carefully read all safety instructions and symbols in the

Operating on wet grass or steep slopes can cause
sliding and loss of control.
Wheels dropping over edges can cause rollovers,
