Appearance

Appearance tab serves to define look of the main screen for four different presets – Zooms.

Appearance - Global

DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS (DAY): Sets display brightness level used during the day time.
DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS (NIGHT): Sets display brightness level used during the night.
Please note: Day and Night time is derived from the sunrise/sunset events at the rotator
location.
LIGHT BACKGROUND: Sets background and heading color for the LIGHT schemes.
DARK BACKGROUND: Sets background and heading color for the DARK schemes.
Please note: Levels 3 and 4 have the same background but inverse heading color.
HEADING: Sets the main heading number meaning to show the TARGET heading or real time
CURRENT heading.
DISTANCE TO TARGET: Shows remaining angle to the target while rotator is turning.
ALWAYS SHOW MAIN HEADING: When checked, main screen contains small indicator of
main heading direction for antennas with heading offset.

Appearance - Zoom 1..4

RADIUS: Sets great circle map radius centered at the rotator location.
BACKGROUND: Sets background scheme defined at the Global tab. AUTO selection will use
LIGHT scheme during the day time, DARK during the night.
GREAT CIRCLE: Sets great circle color, light blue or dark blue. AUTO selection will use light
blue color during the day time and dark blue color during the night.
GREYLINE AREA: Enables greyline projection to the great circle map.
BORDER LINE: Enables projection of a fine line corresponding to the time when the center of
the sun is located right on the horizon.
SHOW MAP: Enables azimuthal equidistant map projection to the great circle area.
SHOW SUN: Displays sun position on the great circle.
MAP COLOR: Defines style of map coloring. Colors were chosen with no intention implied.
DISTANCE CIRCLES: Enables distance circles to be drawn on the great circle. Step is chosen
automatically according to the defined RADIUS parameter.
All above settings are set individually for each presets at Zoom tabs 2, 3 and 4.
