Setup

To set up and use the MELCloud with the internet, perform the following steps or use the included quick reference guide.
4.1

Initial state

Turn on the main switch on the ATA/ATW or Lossnay unit. When the LED display shows the initial state indicated in the
right column, the wi-fi adapter can be connected to the router.
Note: It takes several minutes before the initial state is reached.

4.2

Mode selection

The wi-fi adapter has to first be connected to the router before it can be used for communication between the indoor unit
and the MELCloud. There are three ways to connect the wi-fi adapter to the router:
• WPS-PUSH mode
• Access point mode
• WPS-PIN mode
Which mode should be set depends on whether your router has a WPS button. Please use the pairing mode best suited
to your system. Refer to the table below for information on how to set the pairing mode using the MODE button. If the
router is replaced, the wi-fi interface has to be configured again.
