Getting Started with System Controller

Overview

The Xilinx system controller is an ease-of-use application that runs at power-up on all
UltraScale FPGA evaluation boards. These select board features can be controlled and
monitored:
Programmable clocks
Power system monitoring (PMBus)
UltraScale FPGA system monitor (SYSMON)
Adjustable FMC expansion interface voltage
GPIO pushbuttons and configuration DIP switch
UltraScale FPGA Configuration
On power-up, the system controller presents a menu-driven selection of actions invoked by
running a terminal program over a UART (115200-8-N-1) connection through the
USB-to-UART bridge interface (J4) (see
X-Ref Target - Figure C-1
