Performing the Insulation Test
Set the multimeter to read mega ohms.
Measure the resistance between the expansion bolt and
ground bolt of the multi-purpose fiber management
cabinet. The resistance must be greater than 5 mega
ohms. If the resistance is less than 5 mega ohms, check
whether all required insulation parts have been properly
installed and are free of damage. If this is the case,
perform the insulation test again. If the insulation parts
are found damaged, uninstall the cabinet and other
materials. Then, re-install the cabinet and insulation parts.
(Optional) Restoring the ESD Floor
CAUTION
If underfloor cabling is required, route
fibers and cables prior to restoring the
ESD floor.
