Distortion

IGBT-type grid-side converter unit does not generate characteristic current/voltage
harmonics like a traditional 6- or 12-pulse bridge does, because of the sinusoidal
waveform of the line current.
Typical harmonic components of the voltage and current distortion are shown below.
Each harmonic is presented as a percentage of the fundamental voltage. n denotes
the ordinal number of the harmonic.
