Initial settings of the wave output function

For the wave output function, set the following items as the initial setting. Before using the wave output function, complete the
procedures described in this section.
• Creating wave data (Page 46 Creating wave data)
• Setting parameters of the wave output function (Page 49 Setting parameters of the wave output function)
• Writing wave output data to a file register (ZR) or CSV file (Page 50 Writing data to a file register (ZR) or CSV file)
• Parameter setting of the D/A converter module (Page 51 Parameter setting of the D/A converter module)
This section uses the R60DA4 for explanation.
Creating wave data
Create wave data on the "Create Wave Output Data" window of the engineering tool.

Start "Create Wave Output Data".
[Tool]  [Module Tool List]  [Analog Output]  [Create wave output data]

Select "Module Type" in "R60DA4".
If a type other than "Module Type" is selected, proper wave data cannot be created because the
corresponding channel or the range of digital values differs.
In addition, "Wave pattern" and "Wave output data" are completely deleted by changing "Module Type".
Therefore, set the correct value in "Module Type" and follow the procedure 3 or later.

Select the graph displayed in "Register wave pattern" and press the [Enter] key. The "Register Wave Pattern" window is
displayed.

Set "Wave pattern information".".

1.14 Wave Output Function
Description
The wave pattern number selected in the "Create Wave Output Data" window
is displayed. Up to 10 wave patterns can be created.
Set the name of the wave pattern.
Select the setting range of the digital value according to the output range to be
used.
Set the number of the digital values of the wave pattern.
Set the comment of the wave pattern.
