Alarm Code List

When an alarm occurs during operation, the D/A converter module stores an alarm code in 'Latest alarm code' (Un\G2) of the
buffer memory. Turning on 'Alert output clear request' (YE) or 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) clears the alarm code
in 'Latest alarm code' (Un\G2).
The following table shows the list of the alarm codes stored.
 in alarm codes: Indicates the channel of a generated error. A numerical value of 0 to 7 is used to correspond to channel 1
to 8.
(CH1: 0, CH2: 1, CH3: 2, CH4: 3, CH5: 4, CH6: 5, CH7: 6, CH8: 7)

3.5 Alarm Code List
Description and cause
The alert output alarm (upper limit) has occurred in
CH.
The alert output alarm (lower limit) has occurred in
CH.
'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) was
turned on and off in a status other than Wave output
stop.
The scaling function is enabled when the wave
output function is used.
A value other than 0 is set in Input value shift
amount when the wave output function is used.
The rate control function is enabled when the wave
output function is used.
The range has been switched during analog output
in CH.
A mode switching request has been issued for a
target module to be synchronized.
Rate control enable is set in CH.
Action
Adjust CH Digital value to fall within the
range, and turn on and off 'Alert output clear
request' (YE). As a result, the corresponding bit
of Alert output upper limit flag and/or Alert
output lower limit flag, and 'Alert output signal'
(XE) turn off.
Turn on and off 'Operating condition setting
request' (Y9) after the wave output stops in all
channels.
Set CH Scaling enable/disable setting to
Disable (1) when using the wave output
function.
Set CH Input value shift amount to 0 when
using the wave output function.
Set CH Rate control enable/disable setting to
Disable (1) when using the wave output
function.
To switch the range, turn off Output enable/
disable flag (Y1 to Y8) of the corresponding
channel, and turn on and off Operating
condition setting request (Y9).
Target modules to be synchronized cannot shift
to offset/gain mode. When performing the
offset/gain setting, set the module as a
synchronization non-target in the system
parameters, and switch to normal output mode
(D/A conversion processing) to shift to offset/
gain mode. To clear the alarm, turn on and off
'Alert output clear request' (YE).
When an alarm is occurred, inter-module
synchronization function can be operated, but
rate control function becomes disabled. When
using the rate control function, set the module
as a synchronization non-target in the system
parameters and set to normal output mode.
To clear the alarm, set Disable in CH Rate
control enable/disable and turn on and off
'Operating condition setting request' (Y9).
