8. Appendix 1 HyperTerminal
Starting Procedure
Click on the 'START" menu, then 'PROGRAM" -> 'ACCESSORY" -> "HYPERTERMINAL".
Double-click on Hppertrm.exe. The following windows will appear.
Set the name, select the icon, and click on the "OK" button. Select a serial port to be used such as
'DIRECT TO COMl' or 'DIRECT TO COM2", and click on the OK button.
Set the communication parameters as follows.
BWsec. : 9600
Data bit :8 '
Parity : None
Stop bit :l
Flow control : XorVXoff
Once the communication parameters have been set, click on the 'OK* button. The following screen will
open.
