1. 3D-Image Capture
For 3D viewing by using a four-segment BSE detector, it is necessary to obtain image
data of each segment. 3D-Image Capture is a function to automatically acquire such
image data.
NOTE : When [SE] or [Mix] is selected from [Signal Select], it is not possible to acquire
BSE image data by using 3D-Image Capture function.
2. 3D-Image Viewer
3D-Image Viewer reads the image data acquired by means of 3D-Image Capture, and
then, calculates height distribution to produce bird's-eye-view graphics, cross-sectional
profiles, and 3D images.
By specifying the location where captured data is to be saved in advance, the Main
window allows you to read in the latest captured image and perform calculations by
simply clicking the [Automatic Import] button. It is in the Main window that bird's-eye-view
graphics can be produced and measurements can be performed.
Also, by clicking the [3D] button, you can create a 3D model from height distribution
data, and display the 3D model in the 3D-Viewer window. In the 3D-Viewer window, 3D
models can be rotated and zoomed. The rotation of a 3D model can be recorded as a
BMP-format still picture or AVI-format moving picture, for playing back on another PC.
NOTICE: 3D-Image Viewer can be installed and used on the control PC attached to the
TM3030Plus main unit and on a maximum of one external PC.
