Cause and remedy
Communication fault
 Switch the steam oven off and then back on again
after a few minutes.
 If the same message appears again, call the
Service Department.
The maximum operating time for a cooking function
has been exceeded. This has triggered the safety
switch off device.
 Switch the steam oven off and then back on
again.
The steam oven is immediately ready for use again.
No water intake:
– the water inlet hose is trapped or kinked.
 Rectify the cause of the problem and start the
appliance again.
– the stopcock has been turned off.
 Open the stopcock and start the appliance again.
– one or both float switches in the water container are
stuck.
 Release the float switches or switch so that it
moves freely.
 If, having corrected the problem, this fault
message appears again, contact Miele Service.
The water inlet valve is faulty.
This can occur if the control panel was opened or
closed during water intake.
 Confirm with OK and continue operation.
 If the same message appears again, call the
Service Department.
