Task
Purpose
Add user information by configuring required fields.

example, User ID and last name.

Assign a password (for User Options web
pages) and PIN (for Cisco Extension Mobility
and Personal Directory).

Cisco Unified CM.

If your company uses a a Lightweight Directory
Access Protocol (LDAP) directory to store
information on users, you can install and
configure Cisco Unified Communications to use
your existing LDAP directory, refer to
the"Configuring Corporate Directories" section
on page
5-15. Once the Enable Synchronization
from the LDAP Server field is enabled, you will
not be able to add additional users from Cisco
Unified CM Administration.
Note
