Use the following table set how events are handled by the HRDVS.
Description
Set the compression ratio for all cameras to be used for regular event recording.
Note
The higher the compression rate, the longer you can record video before
your storage space is filled.
Determines what the system does when the event portion of the hard drive storage
space is full. Options are:
Stop. The HRDVS stops recording and you must erase this portion of the disk before
recording can resume.
Recycle. The HRDVS starts at the beginning again, overriding the oldest clips.
Determines what the system does when the End of Disk field is set to Stop and the
event portion of the hard drive storage space is full. Options are:
Beep. If enabled, HRDVS beeps when the disk is full. This setting is only active if the
Disk Full field is set to Stop.
Output. If enabled, the HRDVS sends a signal to the alarm output when the disk is
full. This setting is only active for Recycle mode.
Enables (default) or disables system error action processing. Options are:
Beep. If enabled, the HRDVS beeps when a system error occurs.
Output. If enabled, the HRDVS sends a signal to the alarm output when a system
error occurs.
Enables or disables (default) video loss action processing (when the system detects
a lost video signal from an enabled camera).
Note
For this feature to occur, there must be video loss across all video inputs.
Options are:
Beep. If enabled, the HRDVS beeps when it detects total video signal loss.
Output. If enabled, the HRDVS sends a signal to the alarm output when it detects
total video signal loss.
Text. If enabled for HRDVS1, when a video signal is lost, the screen turns red and
the message Video Loss! Camera 1 displays.
