Set Number
of Rings to Answer
YourAnsweringSystemcan answer after 2 -6 rings or you can choosethe TollSaver
option. TheTollsaver option instructsthe AnsweringSystemto answer after/4 rings
only if there are new, un-playedmessages;otherwise,it will answer after 6 rings.The
benefit to you is if you are making a long distancecall to retrieve messages,if the
AnsweringSystemdoesnot answer after/4 rings,you can hang up.Thereare no new
messages,and you will savethe expenseof a long distance call.
1. Pressthe ans. menu button repeatedly until the system announces"Number of
Rings selectedis 2 (or 3/4/5/6/toll saved".
2. Pressthe I_skip button to choose your desired section.(default istoll saver)
B. Pressthe ans. menu button to confirm your setting.
Recording a Memo
Youcan record a memo,either at the base unit or from a remote location.
To record a Memoat the Base:
1. Pressthe rec/memo button.
2. Thesystemannounces,"Now recording". Beginspeaking after the beep.
B. Pressthe • stop button when finished.Your memo is stored likea messagefrom
an outside caller.
To record a Memo from a Remote Location
follow instructions in the Remote Operation section.
NOTE: If memory
is full, the answering
system will announce
"Memory
is Full", and the message
indicator
flashes an FU and the
message
count
alternatively.
