    Reset Base Thisoption allows userto restorethe baseand Date/Timeto the default setting. Note: All Caller ID records stored in base and cordless handset, and all the phonebook and radial records stored in base will be cleared upon reset. You may wish to write down the information before reset.

    Caller ID {CID) IMPORTANT: In order to use this unit's Caller ID features, you must subscribe to either the standard Name/Number Caller ID Service or Call Waiting Caller ID Service. To know who is calling while you are on the phone, you must subscribe to Call Waiting Caller ID Service. Thisunit receivesanddisplaysinformation transmitted by your local phone company.

    Outgoing Announcement You can record 2 different outgoing announcements: A1 inviting your caller to leave a message or A2 asking your caller to call back later. Outgoing Announcement A1 is played when Announce Only mode is OFF.Callers can leave a message in this mode. Your answering system is preset with Announce Only set to OFF,allowing callers to leave a message.

    Set Number of Rings to Answer YourAnsweringSystemcan answer after 2 -6 rings or you can choosethe TollSaver option. TheTollsaver option instructsthe AnsweringSystemto answer after/4 rings only if there are new, un-playedmessages;otherwise,it will answer after 6 rings.The benefit to you is if you are making a long distancecall to retrieve messages,if the AnsweringSystemdoesnot answer after/4 rings,you can hang up.Thereare no new messages,and you will savethe expenseof a long distance call.
