    Set Number of Rings to Answer Your Answering System can answer after  -6 rings or you can choose the Toll Saver option. The Toll saver option instructs the Answering System to answer after 4 rings only if there are new, un-played messages; otherwise, it will answer after 6 rings. The benefit to you is if you are making a long distance call to retrieve messages, if the Answering System does not answer after 4 rings, you can hang up.
