Access
Youmay accessthe answering systemfrom any tone-dial compatible telephone
by entering your a-digit remote accesscodeduring the playingof outgoing
announcement.
1. Dialthe telephonenumber at which the answering systemis connected.
2. Enterthe a-digit RemoteAccessCodeduring the outgoing announcement.
3. Followthe voice menu to usethe answeringsystem'sremote functions. If there is
no command enteredafter 20 seconds,the unit will releasethe line.
4. Youcan now perform the following functions:

Press1 to play messages
•
Pressa to repeat current messageor previousmessage
•
Press5 to stop
•
Press6 to play next message
•
Press7 to deletecurrent message
•
Press8 to record memo
•
Press9 to recordand then reviewannouncement
•
Press0 to turn answering systemon or off
•
Press* for instructions

When Message Alert is ON,the base unit will beep once every 10 seconds when new
messageshave been received.
1. Pressthe arts.menu button
repeatedly
until the
system announces "Message
Alert is ON(orOFFf'.The messageindicator displaysAL.
2. Pressthe I_skip or [4 repeat button to switch between ON and OFF.
3. Pressthe ans. menu button to confirm your
setting.
