Spea kerphone Operation
Forbest speakerphoneperformance,avoid the following:
• Areaswith high background noise.(Themicrophone might pick up these
sounds.)
• Surfacesaffected by vibration.
• Recessed areas such as in a corner,under a cupboard, or next to a cabinet,
which can generate an echo effect.
Note the following guidelineswhen usingthe speakerphone.
• Stayreasonablyclose to the phone so that you can be clearly heard by the
personto whom you are speaking.
• The SPEAKER i ndicator is illuminated when the speakerphoneis in use.
Switch between Speakerphone & Receiver on the Base
Toswitch to speakerphonemode,the _o'I!_ b utton and hang up the corded handset.
Toswitch to receiver mode,pick up the corded handsetfrom the base.
Switch between Speakerphone & Receiver on the Cordless Handset
Toswitch to speakerphonemode,pressthe ,_r button.
Toswitch to handset, pressthe ,_r button again or pressthe _, button.

handset to stop.
Temporary Tone ffor pulse or rotary service use}
In pulsedialing mode,you can switch to Tonedialing to access bankfacilities etc. by
pressingthe * button. It will resetautomatically to pulsedialing after you end the call.
