calls with the intention of sending a document manually, the FO-130 will treat the
call as a voice call. This is because normal dialing is usedfor manual transmission, and no far tone
is issued. The FO-130 will only be able to recognize a far transmission
if the other party
uses
automatic dialing.

The duration ofpseudo
ringing can be adjusted with User Switch 7 (see "User Switches" in Chapter
5). Possible settings are 15, 30, 60. or I20 seconds (the factory setting is 15 seconds).
Paper cutting
After receiving a document, grasp the paper by the edge and
pull upward to tear it off.
