In any application, you can perform tasks by using either the mouse or
the keyboard. Most tasks, such as selecting, moving, opening, and
copying, are much easier when you use a mouse.
Ensemble has three types of keys: character keys, navigation keys, and
function keys. Character keys are used to type the actual text.
Navigation keys move the insertion point around on the screen or scroll
the document in the window. Function keys, across the top of the
keyboard, and Control Keys, used in combination with another key, are
used to quickly perform tasks such as copying, pasting, and selecting.
