Observe the following safety instructions to ensure permanent operating
safety and safe working with the UPS:
Do not dismantle the UPS.
(There are no parts inside the UPS that require regular
maintenance. Please note that interfering with parts inside the
device will void the warranty.)
Do not install the device in direct sunlight or near to heat sources.
The device is designed to be installed in heated indoor areas. Do
not install the housing near water or in an overly damp
environment.
Condensation may occur if the UPS is brought into the installation
space from a cold environment. The UPS must be completely dry
before commissioning. The device must therefore be left to
acclimatize for at least two hours.
Never connect the mains input and the UPS output to one
another.
Ensure that no liquids or foreign bodies get into the housing.
Do not block the air vents on the device. Ensure that children, for
example, do not push small objects into the air vents.
Do not connect household appliances such as hairdryers to the
UPS. Also exercise caution when operating with motorized loads.
Feedback into the inverter – as a result of operating the load in
generator mode for a short period of time, for example – must be
prevented.
The mains connection should be close to the device and readily
accessible to make it easier to isolate the alternating current input
or disconnect the plug.
Do not disconnect the mains connection cable from the UPS or
from the building socket (shockproof socket) during operation or
else the protective ground conductor of the UPS and all loads
connected to it will be canceled.
