3.1

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these operating instructions before commissioning the Protect B
UPS for the first time and follow the safety instructions.
Only use the device as intended and when it is in full working condition.
When operating the device, ensure that you are fully aware of the safety
aspects and hazards, and working in accordance with these operating
instructions. Immediately remedy defects that could impair safety.
The following symbols are used in these instructions:
Danger!
Indicates threat to life and limb of the operator.
Caution!
Indicates risk of injury and risk of damage to the device and parts of
the device.
Information!
Indicates useful and important information for operating the UPS.
