16 WATER CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS

16.1.1 WATER INTAKE

The device has 2 intake hoses, for cold and hot water.
The hoses are designed for connection to taps with 3/4'' gas threaded fittings.
Use the filters provided, "A" in the illustration, when connecting the hoses.
Notes:
-
If the hose is new or has been unused for a long time, before connecting it make sure that the water
is clear and free of impurities.
The characteristics of the intake water must comply with the requirements stated in the product's TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS tables.
WARNING – MAINTENANCE OF WATER CHARACTERISTICS
Regular checks must be made (e.g. every 6 months/1 year) on the intake water to ensure that
the initial values are maintained, to allow the device or treatment system parameters to be
corrected if the characteristics change.
16.2

WATER DRAIN REQUIREMENTS

WARNING
The drain must comply with international regulations: the manufacturer accepts no liability for pollution
caused by misuse of the device.

Notes:
make sure to use a drain with trap. When installing the drain connection, take the following
precautions:
• The difference in height between the end of the drain hose and the surface on which the device is
installed must comply with the stated specifications.
• The internal diameter of the drain pipe must be no less than 110 mm.
• Use of a drain pipe of 110 mm diameter is recommended.
No extensions must be added to the drain hose supplied with the device. Any extensions may case
problems of flowback into the chamber.
