12 PREPARING THE LOAD FOR THE WASHING AND DISINFECTION CYCLE

Loading instructions are provided in compliance with IEC 61010-2-040.
Effective washing starts with preparation of the load: the load must be appropriately arranged on the most
suitable supports.
No treatment is specified before sanitary aids are placed in the device.
The load must be placed on the support in strict accordance with the instructions provided
with the it, taking care to avoid overlapsand not to create "shadow zones": water from the
spray arms must be able to reach all parts.
The device comes without washing support.
Refer to the washing support manuals for guidance on their correct use.
The user must avoid direct contact with soiled material.
Always take the greatest care, using all suitable personal protection equipment, both before
and after treatment.
Before processing a device in the bedpan washer, check on the manufacturer's instructions
that it is approved for automatic treatment in the washer disinfector and check the
recommended maximum washing temperature.

LOAD SUPPORTS

These supports, generally consisting of stainless steel racks, are intended to ensure correct accommodation
of the load for processing.
NOTES
- Supports are integral parts of the device and are classified as components of it.
- The device cannot be used without a support.
- The supports offered cannot be used in combination with washing devices produced by other
manufacturers.
They are listed in the table and described in detail in the following points.

suitable for processing 4 urine bottles.
Support for 2 bedpans, also suitable for
processing 1 bedpan and 2 urine bottles or 4
urine bottles.
