Carrying out self-
disinfection
(optional)
This button is only displayed when the machine is fitted with an in-
ternal tank. The machine's internal tanks are disinfected via
fection
during the automatic system test.
Every self-disinfection carried out is assigned a cycle number and a
reprocessing report for documentation purposes.
If documentation is not required, the function can be deactivated by
the Miele Customer Service Department.
If the automatic self-disinfection of the internal tanks was not com-
pleted without faults, this function can be started manually.
Self-disinfection can only be carried out if there is no load carrier in
the wash cabinet.

The steps required for self-disinfection run automatically. Once self-
disinfection has finished, a message will appear on the display:
Self-disinfection completed
or
Self-disinfection failed
Press OK to confirm the message.

If the self-disinfection is not repeated successfully, contact the
Customer Service Department.
You can cancel self-disinfection with the  button in the footer.
