When OS is Started

Unable to start OS
Has the BIOS configuration of the RAID Controller changed?
Set the correct BIOS configuration with a RAID Configuration Utility (LSI Software RAID
Configuration Utility or WebBIOS).
Is the RAID Controller recognized by POST?
Turn on the power after making sure the RAID Controller is recognized correctly.
If the RAID Controller is not recognized as though being connected successfully, the RAID
Controller may be faulty. Contact your sales representative.
Is RAID Controller inserted firmly straight into the PCI slot?
Install the RAID Controller properly.
Is the RAID Controller inserted into the PCI slot for which the installation is restricted?
Check the installation restrictions of the server and then install the RAID Controller in the
correct slot.
If the RAID Controller is not recognized as connected although the above action has been
taken, the RAID Controller may be faulty. Contact your sales representative.
Is the solid state drive installed correctly?
Install it correctly.
Is the SSD cable (used for connection with solid state drive) connected properly?
Connect the cable properly.
If the solid state drive is not recognized as connected although the above action has been taken,
the solid state drive may be faulty. Contact your sales representative.
Is EXPRESSBUILDER DVD inserted?
Eject EXPRESSBUILDER DVD and reboot.
Is BIOS configuration correct?
Use the BIOS setup utility to check if boot device is correctly specified.

Is a floppy disk in the floppy disk drive?
Take out the floppy disk and restart the CPU blade.
Is the OS damaged?
Use recovery process to recover the system.
