9. Oil level switch
9 Remove the oil level switch from the bot-
tom of the crankcase.
(Refer to "CRANKCASE" on 3-18)
9 Connect the pocket tester (W × 1) to the
oil level switch lead and check for conti-
nuity.

Tester + lead → Oil level switch lead 1
Tester - lead → Body ground 2
A Continuity → Correct
B No continuity → Correct

10. Wire harness
9 Check the terminal of the connector for
contamination, rust, or disconnection.
GOOD
Replace the TCI unit.
