To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.

Schedule

For optimum performance from this machine, this
maintenance schedule must be strictly followed.
Ongoing
to maintain a low risk of injury and proper
machine operation, if you ever observe any of the
items below, shut down the machine immediately
and fix the problem before continuing operations:
• loose faceplate or mounting bolts.
• damaged center or tooling.
• Worn or damaged wires.
• loose machine components.
• any other unsafe condition.
Weekly Maintenance
• Clean/vacuum dust buildup off of motor and
lathe bed, and lubricate spindle and quill.
Monthly Check
• Belt tension, damage, or wear.

Cleaning &
Protecting
Cleaning this lathe is relatively easy. Vacuum
excess wood chips and sawdust, and wipe off the
remaining dust with a dry cloth. if any resin has
built up, use a resin-dissolving cleaner to remove
it.
protect the unpainted cast-iron surfaces by wip-
ing them clean after every use—this ensures
moisture from wood dust does not remain on bare
metal surfaces. Keep the surfaces rust-free with
regular applications of products like g96
