Lubrication Type ...T23964 or NLGI#2 Equivalent
Amount .............................................. 1–2 Pumps
Lubrication Frequency .....................6–12 Months
Add lubrication to the grease fittings shown in
Figure 146.

Elevation Leadscrew

Lubrication Type ...T23964 or NLGI#2 Equivalent
Amount .................................................Thin Coat
Lubrication Frequency .....................6–12 Months
Clean the threads of the elevation leadscrew (see
Figure 146) with a stiff brush and mineral spirits.
When dry, apply a thin coat of lubricant into the
threads with a brush and move the blade up and
down a few times to distribute the grease.

Tilt Leadscrew

Lubrication Type ...T23964 or NLGI#2 Equivalent
Amount .................................................Thin Coat
Lubrication Frequency .....................6–12 Months
Clean the threads of the tilt leadscrew (see
Figure 147) with a stiff brush and mineral spirits.
When dry, apply a thin coat of lubricant into the
threads with a brush and tilt the blade back and
forth a few times to distribute the grease.
