Internal battery

The Toshiba Magnia 3200 server has a built-in CR2032 lithium battery which provides
the power necessary to retain the time and system configuration information. In normal
use, the battery should last for about 5 years.
If you are unsure how to replace the battery, contact a Toshiba authorized service
provider.
DANGER: The server uses a lithium battery. Incorrect installation or use can cause
damage by heat, fire, or explosion.
Observe the following guidelines when replacing the battery:
Do not charge, disassemble, or remove the battery electrode.
Do not incinerate the battery or expose it to excessive heat.
Store the battery in a cool dry place.
When disposing of the battery, adhere to company policy and local government rules
and regulations.
Fit the battery with the electrodes (+/-) correctly oriented. Otherwise you risk causing
heat, an explosion, or a fire.
To ensure proper system operation, replace the battery with one of the same type.

Replacing the internal battery

WARNING: The battery can explode if it is not installed properly. Always replace the
battery with an equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used
batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Removing the battery will cause the system's configuration information to be lost.
Before removing the battery, write down your server's configuration data for later
reentry.
