10.13 Replacing an SPD

Procedure
Step 1 Open the door of the electric control box.
Step 2 Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the
controller home screen.
Step 3 Turn off the active and standby power switches.
Step 4 Remove cables from the faulty SPD, press the clasp of the SPD using a flat-head
insulated torque screwdriver, and pull the switch outwards to remove the SPD.
Step 5 Install a new SPD, install the end fastener, and reconnect the cables.
Step 6 Power on the device.
Step 7 Close the door of the electric control box.
Step 8 Tap Start on the home screen. Ensure that the unit is running normally without
any alarms.
