10.6 Replacing a Drive

Prerequisites
Context
Before checking and maintaining the device, ensure that the active power supply
to the device is disconnected and the drive has been placed without active power
supply for 10 minutes. Otherwise, electric shocks may occur.
Procedure
Step 1 Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the
controller home screen.
Step 2 Turn off the active and standby power switches.
Step 3 Open the No. 2 maintenance door.
Step 4 Remove all cables from the drive and cut the cable ties using diagonal pliers.
Step 5 Remove cables.
Step 6 Remove the four screws on the drive using a Phillips insulated torque screwdriver,
and pull out the drive.
Issue 10 (2024-01-30)
A drive needs to be replaced.
A spare drive of the same model is available and functional.
Tools: Phillips insulated torque screwdriver, diagonal pliers, cable tie
