The application is working trip free with the following settings:
• Drooping control is turned on for both drives at 10%.
• Master runs on a 4-20mA reference.
• Slave is a pulse follower of the main drive for frequency synchronization.
• Slave runs .06Hz slower than master to exactly load share (probably due to roll size differences).
• A 10KW 3.6 ohm resistor was added to each drive. Resistors run cool but do fire infrequently while
drive is running.
• System runs 10% lighter load with coal than without indicating a slight decline.
• Conveyer coasts about 10-12 seconds before stopping when the drive is turned off.
