2 Safety instructions

2.1 About this section

The product has been manufactured in accordance with the generally accepted rules
of current technology. Nevertheless, there is a risk of personal injury and property
damage if you do not take note of this section and follow the safety instructions in
this document.

Read this documentation carefully and completely before you start working with
the product.

Keep this documentation in a location where it is accessible to all users at all
times.

Always include it when giving the product to a third party.

2.2 Intended use

The product is an incomplete machine.
It may be used as follows:
• For use / installation in a Rexroth TS 5 transfer system
• For the maximum load / section load: see the Technical Data on page 53.
• For the environmental conditions see page 53.
The product is only intended for professional use and not for private use.
The intended use also implies that you have read all this documentation and fully
understood it, in particular chapter 2 "Safety instructions".

2.3 Improper use

Any use other than that described as intended use is considered to be improper, and
is therefore not permitted.
Bosch Rexroth AG is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from improper use.
The user alone bears any risks associated with improper use.
The following foreseeable misuses are also considered improper use:
• Transporting materials other than those specifi ed.
• Using the product without a protective guard (provided by the customer).
• Using the product in accumulation operation.
