Frequency meter (C)
with sensor head (B)
for measuring the belt
tension.
1.
Determine the
permissible frequency
range (see table).
2.
Turn on the frequency
meter (C) and hold the
sensor head (B) over the
belt.
3.
Strike the toothed
belt gently to read the
frequency f.
Compare the frequency f
with the table.

If the frequency is within
the specifi ed range:
the belt tension is correct.

within the specifi ed range:
Tension/slacken the
toothed belt with the

frequency is calibrated.
