The ECC500 allows you to set site-deployment and network-connection parameters for
sites and the NMS, such as IP addresses and access point names (APNs), on the LUI to
implement laptop-free deployment.
The ECC500 provides the WebUI that transmits data after encrypting it over SSL to help
obtain real-time information, alarms, and statistics from tab pages and issue control
commands through the data exchange interface.
A web client of the ECC500 supports SNMP northbound interfaces, data query, alarm
reporting, access to third-party network management system.
A web client of the ECC500 supports a maximum of 15 accounts in three levels
(administrator, engineer, and operator). Each level can be assigned a maximum of five
accounts.
The ECC500 allows the access of a maximum of three web clients running on three
separate computers. A user can log in to the ECC500 from only one client at a time.
A web client can obtain ECC500-reported equipment information, such as UPS and
natural-ventilation information, by communicating with the ECC500 through the IP
network with encrypted transmission. In addition, the ECC500 performs operations (for
example, open or close dry contacts and control southbound equipment) after receiving
control and configuration information from the WebUI.
The ECC500 communicates with southbound equipment over Huawei temperature
control protocol and the Modbus protocol to collect the data required for other modules.
The ECC500 also sends control and configuration commands to southbound equipment
to perform operations, such as battery connection and disconnection.
By communicating with northbound equipment, the ECC500 allows you to load its
applications and those of southbound equipment online and view the electronic labels.
