5.2 WebUI

To ensure the security of data transmission, the ECC500 transmits data after encrypting it over
SSL. You can perform the following operations on the WebUI:











5.2.1 Login Preparation

Set the IP address, gateway, and subnet mask of the ECC500 before logging in to the WebUI.
You also need to set the network and Internet Explorer.
Connecting Cables
Connect the FE port on the ECC500 and a communication device using a network cable, and
the port together with security protocols.
Setting the IP Address
Set the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway on the LUI based on the assigned ones.

View the system information, such as the UPS status, natural-ventilation system status,
and active alarms.
Set system parameters.
Configure network parameters, IP addresses.
Control the system, such as the UPS and natural-ventilation monitoring units.
Manage user information. For example, add, delete, and modify user information.
Upgrade software online.
Query and export historical logs and alarms.
Collect the performance statistics on the main control module and the monitored
equipment.
Set the system date and time and site name, and save, download, and upload
configuration files.
Query electronic label information.
Configurations:
 Operating system: Windows XP or Windows 7
 Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or a later version

If the ECC500 is connected to a local area network (LAN) and a proxy server has been selected,
cancel the proxy server settings.
 If the ECC500 is connected to the Internet when the computer (where a client runs) is connected to
the LAN, retain the proxy server settings. Otherwise, you cannot connect the computer to the
ECC500.
Open Internet Explorer.
Choose Tools > Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN settings, as shown in
